About your speaker
Ben is Founder and Managing Director of Story and Strategy, where he specialises in defining and creating compelling stories that build reputations and growth. Story and Strategy fills a niche in creating effective communications for technology companies and those in other complex, scientific and technological markets. The common feature of these businesses is a need to explain complex issues to often sceptical audiences without dumbing them down. Finding the angles that both resonate and educate is key to building profile, reputation and ultimately growth.
Prior to this, Ben was Managing Director and Chair of EMEA Technology Practice at international communications and PR firm Burson-Marsteller where he managed a dedicated team of 20 experts in building reputations for technology firms, both globally and in the UK. His career which spans nearly three decades across global agencies, boutiques and in-house means he has broad experience across the PR, policy and communications sector.
